WHO I AM

I am a Senior Fellow in the National Security Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, an Associate Fellow at the Royal Navy Strategic Studies Centre, and a Contributing Editor at War on the Rocks.

My PhD dissertation was on the history and concept of the military-industrial complex in the United States. I write and comment widely on geopolitics, military innovation, and defence acquisitions, with a focus on naval warfare. My pieces are available via the "Publications" page above.
